Game Review (written by Addsey) Added on: 02/18/2007
The graphics and character interaction of this game were great for the time that it was released and even today a true old school gamer will enjoy its charm.
IT CAME FROM THE DESERT is without a doubt an old school adventure game that keeps you thinking, exploring and guessing. Compared to the games of the new generation you can see a difference in game play and interaction, however this does not take the fun out of this game.

IT CAME FROM THE DESERT is without a doubt an old school adventure game that keeps you thinking, exploring and guessing. Compared to the games of the new generation you can see a difference in game play and interaction, however this does not take the fun out of this game. This was one of the first games of its kind I played some years ago and found it to be as fun or more so then some of the games played today.
BANG, a meteor hits the earth outside of a small town in the desert. You
It Came From The DesertIt Came From The DesertIt Came From The Desert
begin from here one man that notices a lot of strange occurrences happening in your small town. After investigation you find that the town is being attacked by huge ants that are intent on destroying the town, people and even you. Where did they come from, Aliens or mutants? You will soon discover. This however is not just a thinking game there are many action parts as well. Throughout the game your character will fly a crop duster and spray giant ants from the air as well as shooting the feelers off of ants to kill them as they attack you and my personal favorite racing around a hospital on a wheel chair avoiding capture.
The game has a lot of twist and turns, which can further your game play or send you back to the beginning. The game will lead you to farms, jails, hospitals, airports and other establishments, which will give you clue after clue to where you will discover the truth. This all peaks when you finally discover the ants nesting grounds and attempt to destroy the mother ant and save the town and the world from a fate worst then death - slavery!
It came from the desert broadened the horizon of adventure thinking games and I would recommend it to any gamer that wants to revisit there routes or just experience a fun game.
