Game Review (written by Oot_the_loop) Added on: 11/20/2006
Pinball Fantasies is THE definitive pinball game. I won't have anyone arguing with that. Many have tried, many have failed. Pinball fantasies is the daddy! Even now, more than ten years old, this game is in my opinion still the best pinball game ever made. With 4 full boards available including ramps, loops, bumpers, things that go bleep and for some obscure reason ducks to make snacks, this game will have you hooked from the minute you start playing to the minute, well, someone buys a real pinball table!
Arguably the weakest of the 4 tables on offer is billion dollar gameshow, closely followed by speed devils, with a distinct lack of features in comparison with other tables a letdown.

is a top notch horror simulated table with so much to offer that if the game ended with that, most people would be happy enough.
But there is one simple reason why this is known by many as the best pinball game ever made: Table 4 - PARTYLAND. Features upon loops upon more features upon that special hidey hole up the top that not many people know of make this in my opinion: pinball heaven. With the sound effects not in the least bit irritating, like so many other games, you will strive to hear the wacky voice keep repeating ffiiiiiivvvveeeeee million everytime you hit the right loop, or eventually do all the tasks to spell PARTY and just watch the table go mental!
There’s so much to offer in this table that even when you think you know all the special loops and combos to pull off a high score - along comes a new little ramp that you didn’t know existed - and WHAM, your hooked for another 17 days!
One of the great things about pinball fantasies that excited me when I was 10 and still does to this day is the fact, that although there are so many bits to it - it was all fairly easy to understand what you had to do - something which billion dollar gameshow doesn’t have. Hey presto! I’m getting millions for hitting every bumper now!!! And of course, there is no greater feeling that whacking that silver little ball straight into the open mouth of a damn clown and hearing those pinball players favourite word:
JACKPOT!!!!!

Pinball Fantasies is a realistic four table pinball simulation featuring tweaked hi-res VGA graphics in 360x350 (or in lo-res 320x240). All the four tables have very well composed original MOD music, and moody sound effects.
