This game is a piece of retro class! It’s the only one of its genre that was ever any good or any fun. In it you battle to get a record deal and then climb the charts, aiming for that elusive number one spot! I never quite got there when I originally played it on my Atari ST, but I kept going back and trying again!
This game is fun, simple, and not too in depth. I plan to go back and play it again right now, as I never quite made it to No.

This game is fun, simple, and not too in depth. I plan to go back and play it again right now, as I never quite made it to No.1 in the real charts either! What else can I tell you about this piece of gaming history? Well, it’s a shame it didn’t
come out on the PC, as I guess I am now going to have to also get an emulator to run it! Like I said I previously had the Atari ST version, but I will now try the Amiga version as that would have had better sound etc.
Another thing I remember is that you could pick up to four members from your band from artists such as Cliff Richard!
Then you go through rehearsals, write songs, and start performing and chasing that elusive record deal. You get offered some dodgy ones, but if you hold out, the big guns will come in for you. And then it’s the adventure into the charts!
In the meantime, I will happily have a nostalgia-fest playing the original. Class! 10/10
