Game Review (written by Matroxxx) Added on: 11/17/2006
I first played this game in the early 90s and must say its one of the best games I have ever played. You don’t get bored and the game-play is quick. Graphics are what you would expect from an Amiga game, excellent for its time and period. Although most of the game is somewhat static i.e.; only the characters move rather than any surrounds, you tend to forget this while you play as you focus to win at all cost. You can choose your Opponents and each one has there own characteristic and game-play, that is, some are harder to compete with compared to others.

This game is if not better than the real thing in my opinion as it has this sarcastic flare about

it and you'll always want to win, just to here the opponent make sort of noise, expression etc.
It’s a futuristic air hockey game that once you start to play; you don’t want to give up. You are in control with your mouse and you can tend to beat the opponent at there own game. The glass breaking when you win was an image and sound i liked the most, nothing like a bit of noise to break that silence and to release the rage. There are a wide range of characters to beat and the longer you hang in there, the harder it is to beat them and grow through to fight the next one.
Sound is sort of lacking but don’t let this deter you from trying the game out, like I said, it was a game i grew up with and one that had the fines memories for me. It really is one of those cooler games that looked as it was meant for an older audience and the controls were taking a while for me to get used to and master, however it isn’t a game that younger people can’t play. I guess its one for everybody but the older people would get more enjoyment out of it. I can’t wait to try the game again; it’s been way too long and I just hope that it is as good as it was all that time ago but I’m sure it would be.
The best way to beat your opponent is to try and rebound the pack off the sides but don’t try and slow the game down too much as the computer always seems to find a way to beat you at your own game. So try and keep the game fast and used the edges of your paddle to your advantage.
I really hope you enjoy the game as much as I do. What are you waiting for? Do it now!

Excellent game, played for hours with my kids. Some of the characters were really cool. My kids are more grown up now but they will love the chance to play this again
