Sim city 200 is a very good simulation not for the faint of heart. I say this because the graphics may be bad but they were good for their time also the economy is so strict that it's very hard to make a metropolis. But the features like connecting to other cities and kneading water and highways made it worth it.
The first time I played it my city blew up literally I had forgotten to shut off the disasters.

The first time I played it my city blew up literally I had forgotten to shut off the disasters. But other than that I had no clue how to get electricity and water to my city so basically it all blew up.
Then about a few horrible cities later I finally got the hang of the electricity and water when I found that all my money had
been drained in starting the city.
It was only made easier by the few scenarios that you could choose from including metropolis which could be the ultimate place to wreak havoc. I say this because the whole place "was" one big city until you unleashed a horde of tornados on it...
Then there was the scenario where every one was bored and this place was the sadly the only place that I could get some kind of an income. Of course that was after I made them a couple of parks. There were others but I forgot them.
Then in about another couple of years the game was dwarfed by its sequel SIM CITY 3000 which I could just go on about but I won't.
Although it was dwarfed by Sim city 3000 there are still a few die hard fans that were good at it (which I think is still a myth). Other than that it was forgotten by me until I just recently got the classic one and it reminded me of Sim city 2000 because actually of how easy it was.
When I first played I made the connection that although it is a sequel, there would be a lot of differences (like you would always get these pop-ups saying that the people were mad at you) and they finally put in a marina which would always somehow get in the way of a bridge or something.
Although from recent searching if you ever find a brand new never opened copy then you should seal it in a vacuumed glass box and then donate it to a museum. Yes it is that rare!
If you have never heard of it then you should at least find a download able copy and try it.
But all in all if I would to rate it I would give it 8 out of 10 because it is still one of the best classics.
