Game Review (written by Bunj91) Added on: 12/14/2006
Hi, this is my first game article, and I have chosen to do Turrican 2, because it was probably the best classic game in the world and I loved it when I was a kid. It is just like the old days!
Turrican 2 is a fantastic game that I used to play years ago. It is a very old game, but it is still a classic game. When it first comes out on Amiga, it was one of the best games in the world at that point.
I haven't played Turrican 1 or Turrican 3 before, but I'm sure that Turrican 2 has got to be the best. It is such an addictive game too; I used to play it every day!
In Turrican 2, you have to be this little robot and kill aliens and that. It was cool, because in every level, there always used to be a main boss in each level. My favorite level is when you travel around in the spaceship and use your weapons on the spaceship to destroy other spaceships and aliens. You can collect power-ups too which affect the robot's powers too.
I don't know how much Turrican 2 cost me, because I got the Amiga console for Christmas about 10 years

ago, along with Turrican 2 and some other Amiga games. But because the Amiga has become extinct in Britain, due to other games consoles such as the Play station 2 and Xbox, I guess that Turrican 2 wouldn't cost a fortune anymore. Instead, I think it will cost you £5.00, but that's a guess. Because it is very rare nowadays, I think it should cost even more, because Turrican 2 is not only a classic game, but it is also a legendary game.
And the fascinating fact is a majority of first versions of a game (for example, Crash Bandicoot 1) is normally better than the versions afterwards (for example, Crash Bandicoot 2). But with Turrican 2, it is definitely better than Turrican 1, because although I haven't played Turrican 1 before, I have watched someone else play it a few years ago, and it didn't really satisfy me at all.
Well, I haven't played this for about 5 years, because I got rid of my Amiga console, but I really miss Turrican 2. That was my best game I had for that console. I do have a Play station 2 and a PC, but I will do anything to get that Amiga again, so I can play one of the greatest classic games of all time, which is Turrican 2.
