The purpose of this game is to save people by chopper. You take off at a spot on the extreme right part of the "map" and you have to fly to the left to save some people in a building. When they are in the chopper, you have to fly back to the starting point to free the people. As you can see, this game is really simple. When you succeed this mission, you do the same thing but more and more enemies will come.
Graphics are really basic. You fly a chopper like in fort apocalypse but the map is a lot smaller. When we move, the screen is also moving adding some difficulties when enemy planes try to take us down with missiles.
One fun point of this game is the sound. When you die, especially if you have passengers, it is almost good to hear the squish sound of the chopper when it goes down and crash. I remember playing some time only to die for that sound. Basicly, this game is played very fast. Since the map is small, it doesn't take time to accomplish the mission. You take off, go left, take passengers, go right, land, passengers out, take off again, go left.... but
the more you continue, the more enemies are there. Enemy fighters are the worst enemies. The limitation or the main difficulty of this game is the screen motion. When you go left, the shopper is almost at the end of the screen when the screen moves. (same thing when you go right). This is also the reason why enemy fighters are deadly. They come in the same direction that we move. Ex: you go left, you are at the left side of the screen and those fighters comes in the top left corner and drop missiles at you. When I say the this limitation seems to be the main difficulty of this game, it is because it prevents to go very fast from the start to the end of the map. The missions are short but without this aspect, they could have been too short.
Overall, this game is fun by its way. It doesn't take too much of your time to play it. This review is made from my souvenir of a good 15 years old game I played on my commodore 64. By the way, the best game I played was Boulder Dash. Try it if it is not done yet. Have fun.
