You play as Time Master Tim, a traveler from the 21 century. Time Master Tim has invented a time machine that allows him to go back into the past, however while in the past he has infected the dinosaur population with the common measles, causing their death and the extinction of the dinosaur species. To save the dinosaurs from extinction Tim has decided to collect the dino babies and their eggs and take them into the future with him.
Tim must either carry the eggs through the warp with him or trap the baby dinosaurs and they will automatically warp when he does.

Tim must either carry the eggs through the warp with him or trap the baby dinosaurs and they will automatically warp when he does. Tim can’t touch the dinosaurs once they have hatched from the eggs as he will contaminate them with the measles. Killing the baby
dinosaurs, he losing points, and causing his life counter to count down. The only way Tim can capture the baby dinosaurs once they have hatched, is to cage them by jumping over them. Once a baby dinosaur is caged they are protected from Tim and can not be caught by spiders.
Tim has three lives in which to save the dinosaur babies and eggs. He can lose a life by touching a snake, spider or other obstacles that he encounters – these dangers increase as the levels continue, and he can be crushed by the mother dinosaur trying to protect her babies. When the level starts you will be warned to start a fire as the mother dinosaurs is coming. You will be warned a few times before the mother arrives and you are able to dodge the mother’s leg if you are careful, however the best way of avoiding being crushed by the mother is to start a fire. The mother dinosaur is afraid of fire.
Tim must be careful around the fire, as he will die instantly if he touches it while it is burning not smoking, also if the fire stops before you have completed the level the dinosaur mother will return. In other cases of death Tim life will count down, slowly at first but if he touches other dangerous things this rate will go faster, his life will be saved if Tim is able to make it to his warp. While Tim is in his warp his life restores and he can not be injured. If Tim is unable to make it to his time warp he loses a life, he also will lose anything he is carrying.
