Game Review (written by Chrissi) Added on: 12/27/2007
There have been many sequels to games but there is none like the Dizzy Collection of games. You will play the character known as Dizzy who is able to walk, talk, and assist others.
When you first start playing the games you will be given a story that is explaining how the evil wizard Zaks has been terrorizing your home village of Katmandu. There are many ways that he will upset the locals of your town, and for you to gain respect from them you will begin your searches for Zaks and attempt to destroy him.

Throughout the games you will be collecting many different items to create potions that will assist you in defeating the big bosses. For the Dizzy collection there are three additional games other than the original Dizzy game. These games consist

of:
-Crystal Kingdom
-Fantasy World
-Treasure Island
When it comes to the design of Crystal Kingdom you will be attempting to get the Grand Dizzy to have a conversation with you and then will be going around collecting the sacred crystals. With a total of four adventures to go through the game is quite large.
Fantasy World involves Zaks again with him capturing Daisy and has placed you into his dungeons. You will be attempting to escape the dungeon and rescue Daisy, but make sure to get some help.
Lastly Treasure Island is the one that is most similar to the very first game Dizzy. You will be travelling throughout two different islands collecting thirty coins that have been scattered throughout the Islands. After you have collected all the coins its time to escape the islands and finish the game.
Each game is pretty similar in the range of tasks that you will be taking part in, but each having its own uniqueness that keep you interested in the game play throughout all the games.
The graphics are very similar as well throughout all the games. Each has been done in a cartoon format with your character Dizzy looking the exact since the beginning of the game collection to the end. Throughout all the games you may notice a bit of change to the overall design of the games, but generally they are all quite similar in the visual appeal.
The Dizzy Collection can surely be one of the most addicting collections you will ever experience. Each game is unique but similar in many ways allowing it to be quite exciting no matter which game you are taking your chances on. If you are looking to play some action adventure games with that fun kid like appeal, then the Dizzy Collection will be a fascinating selection for your gaming experiences.

Dizzy is a brilliant game that keeps you entertained for hours and is one of my all time greats. They should bring them back as retro gaming rules
