Game Review (written by Thebiglad) Added on: 10/12/2009
I first played this game when I was a young kid and, although I didn’t really understand what was happening, I absolutely loved it.
You play as Sir Galaheart and the premise is that the kingdom of Torot has been cursed by the evil queen and you must find the 4 charms of eternal youth that she will trade for the firestone, which she stole from the dragon and used to curse the kingdom.
It’s difficult to work out what to do to progress, but traveling around the kingdom, dodging its ghostly denizen’s is still fun.

You can find items scattered about the world that can aid you in your quest, such as food (which restores health, essential really as your health decreases over time, as well as when you are touched by a ghost), magic restoration and trade bar restoration. Be careful though, as some of the items are bad and can reduce your health, magic or trading energy. Also you can find item’s used for trade.
The best item’s to look out for are the enchanted crystals, which allow you to shoot magic and defend yourself.
Other things to look out for are the stationary fireballs that kill you instantly, teleporters and the strange diamondy things that you cannot kill and will steal your enchanted crystals when touched
The other side of the
Firelord
game is trading. You can trade item’s that you find in the world for direction’s, clue’s and magic spells (used to travel quickly through the world to “magic place’s”). This is the key to winning the game as you need to trade specific item’s to get the four charms (at least one of them anyway).
Each time you trade your bar of “trading energy” reduces. This can be restored by the items mentioned earlier.
If you are feeling lucky you can attempt to steal during a trade, but if you are caught you will be put to trial, this involves stopping an arrow on the words, innocent or guilty. You must do this three times with an increasing arrow speed and you lose a life for each guilty verdict that you land on.
Although, I love this game and played it a lot, I never managed to complete it, but I am hoping to have another go at it soon.
Overall, this is a fun and engrossing game, I would recommend this to anyone who like’s a bit of exploration and adventure.
