A challenging game where you play as a frog and you must try: First hop across traffic; second you must try to hop on logs and the back of gators; third hop into a hole in the thorns to save the baby frogs from doom while crocodile heads are biting at you from in the thorn bush. Then you must repeat this action to save five more baby frogs. With each level that you complete, new obstacles appear, such as faster traffic and faster logs.
Also, you must jump off the back of the log before it goes off the waterfall. Once it goes off the waterfall, you fall into the water, OR you are hit by a car, this will make you lose a life. You have only three lives so that means you can only mess up twice before you are in trouble. Once you run out of lives, you lose and you have to start over. You can get extra lives by scoring a lot of points, so keep that in mind. While it is a challenging game, it is really a whole lot of fun.
It’s a very challenging game. You only get three lives. Also it’s hard to get enough points
to win an extra life.
Overall Frogger is a very fun game and is addicting to people of all ages. If you have played it, you probably know what I mean by addicting game. Once you start playing it, there is no stopping it. Yes, even though you only have three lives, it is still a very fun game. And the fact that it is a hard game, this is true; it will always be one of the best games ever made. It’s probably one of the best old classic arcade games. Now, there are many sequels to Frogger. In most of them you have to save the baby frogs again, but you are not just hopping across the street, you are hopping around collecting money, fighting the enemies, and one thing that stayed the same: Frogger the frog still can't swim.
So overall l give Frogger an Eight point five out of ten only because of how hard it is. If it were easier, I would have to give it a solid nine, maybe even a full ten. But, Frogger is still the best of the best “old” classic arcade games when compared to the rest.
