Frogger was made in 1981 by Sega/Gremlin. And it was developed by Konami. My brothers and I used to play this game a lot. It might have been a different version though. We got really far. I usually watched, because if I tried to play I would not get too far before I died.
It is a fun game though with lots of levels. It is pretty simple too, because you only need to use the arrow pad. (On keyboard.) As I said it might be a different version, but definitely Frogger.
Each level has a different setting. You have to dodge things and jump at the right time. It is kind of like Mario, because when you can't finish a level, you get frustrated, but keep trying until you get it. It is pretty catchy, and you can easily take turns with friends. And you will keep saying “I'm going to try one more time” or “just one more level”.
Frogger can be used with many game systems including the computer or gameboy. All you have to do is move with the arrow pad to make Frogger jump, so you don't get run over, fall in the water, get crushed, fall, etc. Each version of Frogger is a little different, with different levels, and/or a little different
graphics, but they are all mainly the same, same idea and way of playing, and of course always have Frogger the green frog.
Of course each level is harder, and you might keep dieing in the same place, because you did not jump at the right time. You will probably get angry at it, but you will find yourself always going back to it. This game brings back a lot of memories. It always has a time limit, so you better hurry up, but watch out in the first level you always start at a street (which you have to cross without getting run over) and then a lake. (You have got on the logs.)
Frogger can be played with a joystick, so it can be played with many other systems. (Also an arcade game.) There are 15 or more versions of Frogger. And I am pretty sure that the maximum of players is 2. There are 10 worlds, with many levels in each one. Some systems it is available on are PlayStation, Game Boy Colour, Super Nintendo, PC Games, and Xbox. Bonuses are awarded for collecting other frogs that are stranding on logs, collecting butterflies, getting your frog home with plenty of time remaining etc…
