Game Review (written by Nezkrul) Added on: 06/07/2007
When I first played this game, I relished in it's similarities with the table-top rpg, Dungeons and Dragons. It had a lot of the same elements and basics built right in, and is a top down style dungeon exploration game. It provides greater and greater challenges as you search through each floor of the dungeon for better and better equipment and monsters/puzzles to defeat. The graphics get repetitive after a while, but the challenge of the deeper levels makes that a trivial point.
You collect items from treasure chests as you progress down into the dungeon by finding them in chests and defeating monsters. You gain experience from every kill you make, and the higher level you attain, the more powerful your character becomes. There isn't much customization allowed for your character, it is a very straightforward dungeon crawl, but it does provide fun re playability since each level of the dungeon is randomly generated; giving uniqueness to each run down into the deeps every time you play the game.
I would suggest at least giving this game a try, if you already haven't; especially if you are a fan of role playing games. I have yet to solve the whole game, and I've made it

down to about level 9 before getting killed by a ghost. Extremely challenging later in the game, and requires a lot of searching in order to fully explore each level. And by challenging, I mean a lot of key strokes, planning, thinking, optimizing what you find, and sometimes a lot of running away from the enemy are required to survive.
All in all, I very much enjoyed the near infinite re playability offered by the game. It does sport a save option for you to come back to where you want to leave off; which you will definitely need because it takes quite a few hours to finish.
