I would like to say that Ghostbusters is the best game I have ever played. I grew up playing this game and it's what turned me onto video games. You start with $10,000 and must buy a vehicle to start. here are 4 to choose from each able to hold different amounts of accessories like the portable containment unit and the ghost vacuum. After you choose your vehicle and starter accessories you start on the city map which consists of several city blocks.
When a block starts flashing it is haunted with a ghost and you must drive there before the ghost leaves and you lose your chance for cash and the pk meter builds up faster. When you get to the block on the city map you go to a top down view of your vehicle and you start driving down the road, If you have the ghost vacuum you can suck up ghosts on the road but I do not believe they have any effect on the game itself and it is just for fun. After you drive for a while you will reach your destination and you will see the building and the ghost flying across the front of it.
Your men each fire
at a 45 degree angle whichever direction you face them, The idea is to face your 2 men towards each other without putting them too close together so they form an upside down V. You will also have to place your trap and the best place to put it is right in the middle between your 2 men.
When you fire your proton packs the ghost (if you timed it correctly) should be trapped in between the 2 streams. When the ghost is overtop of your trap fire your trap and it will be captured. You can only carry a limited number of traps and your proton packs will need to be recharged as well from time to time however you can extend your time by buying the portable containment unit and can carry an unlimited number of ghosts. The longer you can stay out the better. As you earn more cash you can buy better vehicles and accessories like the PK meter. After a while your PK meter will start going nuts and the entire city will be haunted, that is when the key and the lock are ready to join. There you will battle the Stay Puff Marshmallow man.
This game is really fun and challenging. I advice you to try it!
