For the Ghosts n’ Goblins sequel there is another very interesting game a part of this gaming sequel known as Ghouls n’ Ghosts. The game play is similar to what was incorporated into the Ghosts n’ Goblins gaming format. You will still be in control of the knight character known as Arthur still taking on many undead and demons like enemies. With this game you will now be attempting to restore many souls that have been stolen by Lucifer. The soul of Arthur’s bride from the previous game has been stolen along with many others.
During this game you will still have the ability to travel around the levels discovering new weapons and armours that will assist you in getting further into your quest with ease. There have been various additions placed onto your characters abilities to give him more options than the previous game that is a part of this series. Now you will be capable of throwing your weapon into the air that will come in hand when you are combating against enemies that can fly. When your character is jumping he will also have the ability to throw his weapon downwards.
In certain areas there have been treasure chests placed underneath the ground. You must jump up in these areas to make them
come up from the ground. Once you have done this you will have to shoot at this chest to open it. In these chests there has been many items placed into them to assist you along the way, and even some that will put a damper on the game like changing you into a duck. With these added features it did make the game a little less difficult for many players. The game will still come off difficult, but not to the point that you are unable to get through the game.
For this game there are a total of six levels that you will have to get through. Each of these levels will still have an end boss to defeat at the end of each level, each becoming more difficult than the previous level.
The overall game design is quite astounding, there is so much detail placed into the game that allow players to get a true feel of the game. The animation has been done quite smooth and enables the players to have a free feel of the overall game. The sound and music that has been placed into Ghouls n’ Ghosts was excellent. This game was considered to have the best music for any of the games a part of this amazing series. The theme music alone that was composed by Tim Follin definitely gave an added touch to the game itself.
Take on the next great adventure of Ghouls n’ Ghosts and save your beloved princess from the wrath of evil. You will want to complete this game along with all the others that have been a part of this series. The plot alone is as addicting as the game play itself. Get entranced into this amazing game before it’s too late.
