Helicopter Equipped Rescue Operation or H.E.R.O. takes place in the underground mines world designed with a platform style feel. The game is an action filled game where you will be taking the role of the character known as Roderick Hero who is a rescue worker with a backpack that turns into a mini helicopter.
You will be traveling through the mines with your helicopter pack and a laser beam taking part in a rescue mission. You will have to avoid many enemies, which could consist of bats, snakes, spiders, and the ever so dangerous butterfly.

You will be traveling through the mines with your helicopter pack and a laser beam taking part in a rescue mission. When you get further into the levels they will not be the only enemies you will be taking on, there is this red ore, which is very deadly when you
touch it. There is even water which is placed at the bottom of the shafts which you don’t want to fall into.
There is a minimal supple of dynamite that you may need for blowing up walls or a swarm of enemies. Since you do not have an unlimited supply of dynamite use it only when it is very necessary since you don’t want to have nothing when you really need it. During each level you will be taking on a rescue mission attempting to rescue a mineworker who has become stuck in the mineshafts and caves. You will find the worker at the very end of the mineshaft and it may be a very difficult task to reach this miner. Later on into the levels you may find it mere impossible to reach the miner, but don’t give up you must save this helpless life. The levels will become longer and harder to travel through the further along into the game which does give the game that level of difficulty to keep players interested.
The game has been viewed in a third person perspective with your usual arcade like designs. The inner mines will all look quite similar, but various in a way. You will get to see where you are traveling towards in many screens, but never the entire maze you are attempting to travel through.
Overall, H.E.R.O does have a superb plot to the game. You are rescuing miners who have become stuck in the mines after a volcanic explosion. There are many obstacles you must avoid on your travels, but never anything too complicated to get through. Keep an eye out for unexpected encounters and definitely don’t waste that precious dynamite. If you are looking for a new arcade game filled with phenomenal action then H.E.R.O is that game indeed. It is not too difficult, but not too easy so you will surely enjoy yourself for many hours to come.
