Game Review (written by Premmy) Added on: 10/03/2007
I remember playing Magicland Dizzy for days as a kid. It was released in 1990. I think so I was about 6 years old playing it, but fun for all the family. My dad and mum and brother and sister used to help me with bits I was stuck on. It was an amazing game and I want it to be remembered as one of the classics. Codemasters really outdid it with this game.
You have to rescue all of Dizzy’s friend which includes his granddad, his girlfriend and I think his sister and everyone else.
Basically all of the characters look like the happy dizzy and all the bad guys looked really mean and horrible. I remember the ghosts and the rat really terrifying me and there were loads more that I can’t remember. I had this game for the Commodore 64 where you had to put in a tape to do it but I couldn’t wait to get back home, put my Magicland Dizzy tape in and see what adventures our egg shaped friend would be involve in and whether I had the mental brain power to figure out what ever it was I had to do whether it be taking steroids or as the game calls it Power Pills to find the strength to

kill the ghosts or working out how to cross a volcano that had molten lava in it.
I hope Dizzy games will be available in the future. This is a giant game and definitely is a stepping stone for other RPGs.

This game is the best game I have ever played as a child.

Dizzy, the egg protagonist, is back in his fourth installment: Magicland Dizzy. The land has been corrupted by an evil wizard, and it's Dizzy's job to set everything right. To do this, he must walk, jump and flip through a large number of screens, pick up and use various items, and talk to people.
