Pang is a great arcade game where you will be traveling through several countries attempting to find and shoot various balloons. There are four different sizes of the balloons and when you have shot one of the balloons it will divide in half until they have become small enough that they just disappear. Once you have shot all of the balloons and they all disappear you will then get to continue on to the next level.

There are a few balloons that will drop special items when they have been shot. One example of a special item would be a harpoon, which can also be used to shoot balloons down and also the blocks, which are blocking some balloons. Some other special items that you could
get are double harpoons, rapid firing pistol, and a grappling hook. Throughout each level you will get more and more balloons to shoot at. Every level will have a few more which blocks meaning once you get a special item that can take out a block to use it so no more of your blocks are unable to be shot at block. The main aspect of the game is to destroy every balloon in every level trying to get the most points while getting every balloon. You will be unable to go to the next level if you are unable to get all the balloons, so be wise with all your items or you’ll find yourself starting over.
Pang is a great arcade game that does have some graphical appeal. The balloons have been done with very colorful colors making it attract the eye. The background isn’t as well done like most C64 games, but it will pass. It does seem a little smashed together in some levels, but you are still able to depict what they are trying to display. The game can be played multiplayer making this game even more competitive. You will find you and found friend playing these fifty levels over and over just because it is a very exciting and fun game. With the addition of multiplayer it does take this game to the next level.
Pang has become a great game in many aspects. It is just a huge slaughtering fest of balloons. When you get special items the game can get even more exciting. Overall Pang is a great game for all ages, especially since you are not shooting at anything but a little latex. Once you’ve completed this game you will definitely want to start over because this game is just so addicting. Time to gather up your friends and have a full day of Pang.
