Power at sea: I have been playing this game for years on and off and have completed it so many times. What makes me want to play it again and again is its easy game play. There are only a few scenarios of the game, but you will find them fascinating.
When you start the game you get a groovy little intro on a newspaper, about the war in the Gulf of Leyte in the Philippines.
Then you go to the main screen where you have a choice between troops and fuel, the more troops, less fuel.
So you have to choose carefully. Also you have 4 days to conquer 4 enemy bases. During this time kamikazes plane attacks and other warships and will try and stop you from getting to the bases so you can pound the bases to hell, with your big navy guns, on your battleship. Once you have knocked out most of the little artillery holes that are during to knock your ship below the waters, you have to decide how many troops do you want to conquer that beach. Choose wisely, too little then you will only weaken the base, too much and you waste your troops that you might need later on. The choice is yours.
If you like
war games and don’t have to think too much then give it ago, there is one scenario where you have to fire on ships and then drop a bomb on it and shows the pilots getting ready for the mission, pretty cool.
I give it 8 out of 10
