Will Wright has designed many games over the years. Raid on Bungeling Bay was his first creation in the year of 1984. For the game you will be utilizing a helicopter traveling through six different areas trying to blow up items throughout islands.
This game was designed to be a shooting war game. You will begin launching your helicopter off of an aircraft carrier traveling to the first of six factories that have been placed on several different islands. These islands are under the control of the Bungeling Empire.
There are many different things you must avoid while traveling across these islands. Some of the items you will discover are turrets, fighter jets, battleships, and guided missiles. Every single one of these types of weapons is attempting to take you down before you get to the factories and while you are near them.
The game has been designed in a two dimensional graphical appeal. There isn’t too much graphical design though to the surrounding atmospheres. This didn’t damper on the overall game appeal though since the game was quite appealing in the tasks you must complete. For the factories that you are attempting to destruct they have been developing new technologies that will come into use in trying to destroy your
helicopter. You must try destroying all these factories as quickly as you can before they get too advanced for you to be able to do destroy them and all the inventions coming out of them. They will be creating new weaponry that will be slowly overtaking the islands making it very difficult for you as the player to advance through the levels. It is a really good idea to get through this game very fast or you will soon be getting destroyed yourself by the enemies.
The difficulty of this game solely depends on how fast you are at playing the game. The longer you take to complete this game the harder it will become. This was a great aspect for Raid on Bungeling Bay. It encouraged gamers to be a lot quicker in game play once they determined all of the controls. Your first few times around playing this game may be quite difficult, but the more you play the easier it will become.
Raid on Bungeling Bay is one of the most amusing shooter games Will Wright has ever designed. This game opened many doors for his future designs and got a lot of respect in the world of gaming. Take on this next action packed game before its too late. Destroy all of the factories as quickly as you can or soon you will be destroyed into a big cloud of dust.
