Game Review (written by Chemdog82) Added on: 11/12/2006
The original Sim City was so addictive to most game junkies back in our day. The game is very simple. The graphics are nothing like the Sim City games of today, but you have a wide range to build up your city. The only utility you must worry about is electricity in this game. You've got Godzilla, and a few other disasters to keep you busy. However, you do have the option to turn off the disasters if you feel as though you would just like to build your beautiful city in the simulator world and destroy it in the end.

The best part is Godzilla when he runs loose as a terror throughout Tokyo and destroys the city at his best.

Everyone loves Godzilla and the fact that he's actually in a game and being used to destruct everything in it is just fun to watch in itself. If nothing kids will enjoy watching it. Challenge cities are just that, somewhat harder to say the least. All in all you may build a great city and then in the end destroy it. All in all Sim City is a great game.
It is still existent today, though there are many more different games that we enjoy it is still an all time favorite among gamers. Although This Sim City is a lot different than its followers, it is relatively more convenient. Instead of placing the areas in sections of colors like red, orange, yellow, blue or green you are set to go and choose your industry, Power plants, airports, hospitals, and the size of the industry is already set for you. This game is relatively a lot easier for you to play it allows for fire and police to come to your rescue much quicker than it would in the later games and it is also easier to power up your industries.
The gaming quality is not at all three dimensional as this game is very ancient to the gaming world, but those of you who enjoy games that are full of strategy would be quite pleased especially some of the up and coming gamers in today's society. It is a great tool to use and would be good for strategically classes in schools. Some gamers who really enjoy the game world will definitely consider this Sim City to be the best of all Sim Games ever made. Just remember it was made back in the day. So it should be real easy for the kids.
