I loved Where In the USA Is Carmen Sandiego! This is probably one of my favorite classic, childhood games. Where In the USA Is Carmen Sandiego helps you use logic and learn a little bit of the history of the United States and each states culture through the background music that plays while you play the game, the background images have historical buildings and architecture, and you are sometimes provided with a guide for each state. Also, each state has information on their key structures, main cities, state flags, and the main points of their history.
Where In the USA Is Carmen Sandiego is enriched full of useful information that will help get you through the hunt to find the suspects through historical clues provided by witnesses. State information will also help you save greatly needed fuel, giving you a longer time to catch the criminals! Plus, you will also gain knowledge for schoolwork and projects.
In this game you are a detective trying to capture Carmen and the criminals in her gang. In order to find these criminals, you must use logic and have a basic knowledge of the different areas you visit. These tools allow you to track criminals from area to area while receiving clues on what they look like. Once you fill out their basic descriptions

you must get a warrant for their arrest. Then you will eventually run into this criminal and you can arrest them. However, if you forget to get a warrant, they cannot be arrested and will get away with what they’ve stolen! Also, you must be careful with your descriptions of the suspect so not to arrest the wrong person. If you do manage to do this, the criminal flees from the scene and gets away. So be careful who you arrest!
Don’t hesitate to arrest the suspect once you are sure they are the criminal though. You will eventually run out of fuel, from either traveling to the wrong area or simply spending too much time in each place. Once you make the arrest it gives you a promotion to a higher rank. And eventually, you will be of a high enough rank and you will go against Carmen!
I had so much fun playing this game with all of my friends and I really did learn facts about different states. Where In the USA Is Carmen Sandiego is one of the best games to play and it allows you to reminisce back to your childhood!
