This was easily my favorite game as a kid. Even playing it now retains some of its value beyond nostalgia. This game was one of the first I ever played in my life. It really set the stage for my expectations out of strategy/ adventure games.
For full appreciation of this game, one must really be either 6 years old or utterly enthralled by all things pooh. The game is set as a sort of hide and seek treasure quest to retrieve the items that disappeared because of the blustery wind.

For full appreciation of this game, one must really be either 6 years old or utterly enthralled by all things pooh. The game is set as a sort of hide and seek treasure quest to retrieve the items that disappeared because of the blustery wind. You must find the lost items and return them to their rightful owners. You learn more about your favorite characters. There are also quest sequences that stimulate the mind. Piglet and eeyore play

a large part, as well as Owl and rabbit. Even peter and heffalumps are included in the storyline. And what story would be complete without a good, scary heffalump next to the river of flowing with milk and honey. The game is set up much like the books, and the story is set in a book. And of course, Tigger. Though in the game Tigger tends to be more of a pain. You save and enter through the toy box.
A big feature in the game is the music, you can discover, through quests, many of the featured songs of Winnie the pooh. My favorite, complete with word, is the tigger song.
The game tends to have a slow load times. At times the map can be confusing and difficult to navigate. You will often find an item on the screen, only to have the blustery wind pick it up again, or you can not find the means to access the object.
The game has a time element, where if you don't find the object in time, the wind has built up enough to pick everything up again. As an adult, this game really is very simple, but entertaining.
This is a great game to play with your kids on a rainy day, relive some of your appreciation and childhood or just appreciate the inherent greatness of the commodore 64 and 8 bit games. This game captures all the adventure and love present in the Winnie the pooh books.
