Wizard of Wor is an action adventure game where you can either play it single player or multiplayer. You will be traveling through several dungeons that are filled with mazes and monsters. As the player you will be taking the role of Worriors and attempting to kill every single monster.
The design of the dungeons has been done with a single screen that is shaped as a rectangular grid. There are various walls and corridors in several formations. You will be able to travel through these corridors.
There are two groups of Worriors. The first group is the yellow Worriors who plays on the right and the second group is the blue Worriors on the left.
Throughout the game you will encounter various monsters. There is a

total of five different monsters which consist of a blue dragon, a yellow tyrannosaurus rex, a red scorpion, an insectoid, and lastly a blue wizard. Each one of these monsters has different abilities and each can be more difficult then the next to defeat. Throughout the first level once you have defeated the last blue dragon a few yellow tyrannosaurus rex’s will appear and after you’ve defeated the final t-rex a few red scorpions will show and so on till you’ve defeated every monster. There are doors on both the left and right of every room, which makes the entire dungeon connect and wrap around. If the monsters have used them they will no longer work and just be like a wall. Eventually they will be usable again, but be patient.
Throughout the game you will have many difficult encounters. The game does get quite difficult at points, but this does allow the game to become more thrilling. The game does have a lot of difficult aspects throughout the entire game, which can get quite frustrating at times. With the ability to have another player helping you further along in the game you will find the game to be a little less difficult, so if you are new to the game get someone playing with you till you get the hang of things, then try it on your own.
Wizard of Wor is a phenomenal game that does require a lot of patience. With this action adventure having a lot of mazes and monsters to get through you will see how exciting this game truly is. There is endless excitement throughout the entire game you will become addicted very fast. Wizard of Wor is a great game that should at least be tried once before you judge this game, you won’t be disappointed.

Super game. I like it very much. Two players could blast their way through level after level of monsters. Timing was the key because you could not fire again until your shot hits something. The game is set in a pac- man like maze and the monsters get faster and faster with each completed level. Monsters were worth different amounts of points. With no loading time this game was worth playing just to kick your friends butt in the points stakes.

Super game! I've played this game many years ago on my commodore 64 and I am pleased to see I could find it on the internet.

I used to love playing this game with my older brother, back in the day. We would team up against monsters, and scream when the Wizard would show up with his eerie lightning bolts. I never got tired of playing this game! Lot's of suspense and excitement, and lots of laughs.

Frog 64, well I had frogger 64 on C64 tape. You are a frog at the bottom of the screen and must hop to the top of the screen. Whilst doing so cars will try to squash. After the cars comes the water crossing, jump across on the crocs back, not its nose, and keep leapfroging or you will be swept off the screen on the croc and lose a valuable life. Don\'t jump in the water or you will also lose a llife. To successfully finish you must jump off the final croc and onto a waiting egg where you respawn at the botttom of the screen with the speed put up a notch. Another frog game was Frogger 2. Keep on playing!

This game was in the cartridge format on the C64 when I came across it. When you were a bit sick of the other games Wizard of Wor was always good for a laugh.
