This Game takes you right back to the days when the C64 was cool! I first played this game at my Grandpa's house on his "high tech" C64 and I couldn't get enough of it. The gameplay was simple, yet intense and captivated my attention. This is the game that started it all for me...

The game is quite simple. This is a side (diagonal) scrolling game that has you in your trusty ship flying through space. Along the way you cruise through large fortresses. There are planes, cannons, and other items that it you shoo will grant you points... however there are also multiple ways in which to die! One of the trickier bits is managing to weave through the laser shield system
that will fry you if you bump into it.
The other aspect of this game is that you also control your elevation which will look at first like your ship is growing / shrinking, but after a while will add a 3d feel to the game.... well...3d for its day that is.
If you make it through the fortresses than you will get a chance to duke it out with other pilots in free space. This is one of the hardest parts of the game as the enemy comes flying right at you and the reaction time is short... it seems a-bit like a better version of space invaders at this point, but don't fear if you miss a ship, there is no kill them all bonus to this game, just points and an desire to pilot your craft to safety.
