Game Review (written by Dm24) Added on: 04/14/2007 This is a simple text based adventure game set at "Granny's Place" - a whore house set in a large garden. Text only with no graphics at all, movement around the house and garden consists of using commands familiar to people that have played this type of game before e.g. North, South, West, East, Up, Down etc.
Objectives
There are several puzzles to be solved in the house. Most are fairly simplistic e.g. pick up the thing from here, go over there and give it to that guy, and so on. There are also various items of loot which can be picked up throughout the house and then placed in your truck outside the kitchen. You get points for loot dropped in the truck, conversely if a "Hood" catches you with loot he will steal it off you. The idea of the loot begs the question of whether your character is a customer of the house or someone robbing it. Perhaps both?
Graphics
Some of the girls have got real nice ascii on them. Actually, in case you get all excited that the author of this game had done some neat ascii artwork, that was a joke. No graphics, only text.
Sound
Nope, none of this either.
Gameplay
Like most text based adventure games, you must write a command through the interface in order to do anything. Unlike many other games though, the interface is particularly unforgiving on this one. No help file or command will give you a list of acceptable verbs to be used and more often than not you will be faced with a reply from the interface along the lines of "the doesn't ". This of course makes you wonder if the puzzle you're trying to solve can be solved at all with what you have or if you've simply not entered the right sequence of words.
