Game Review (written by Janani) Added on: 05/14/2007
Airball is one of the most captivating games I have ever played. In the game you are captured by a bad wizard and then he turns you into a rubber ball. You are then transported to another world. Now you have to roll around and go through the building to find the spell book of instructions. Only on finding this book, you can regain human form.
This game has got an unusual theme and it’s quite an adventure. The building has around 150 rooms and you have to explore all these rooms.
You will find it very difficult as the building is made up of multiple steps, narrow passages and tramps bordered by sharp objects. And remember, you are an air ball and these sharp things can quite easily puncture and destroy you. And that's just the beginning.
Your ball has a slow leak. And your remaining air pressure is shown by a yellow bar in the bottom of the computer screen. You can refill the ball, but for that the ball must bounce on top of a pump. Multiple pumps are in the building, but you must search the building for them as they are scattered around the house. You have to roll the ball off the pump at the right time as

more air pressure can burst the ball. You will die each time you under pressurize or burst the air ball or get being punctured with a sharp object. A cross is marked the spot where you have died. You can pick up these cross marks as a reminder of your past lives as you roll past these points. And these cross marks are also needed to return to human form.
Few helpful objects also can be found in the building. Flash lights are useful in exploring the dark rooms. Gold bars and prizes are useful for scoring points. Some of these prizes are needed to regain the shape.
The bungalow is seen one room at a time from an overhead perspective. When you roll through an arched doorway, that room is blanked and next room is brought up. To win, you must find and return the spell book to the starting room. And locate the items required like a treasure hunt. Accumulating all the ingredients will give you an offer to play again.
Airball is an extremely pleasant and an addictive action packed computer game. The beautiful play-fields are bounded on each side by ornamental wriggling snakes. The musical accompaniment is also very pleasant and rolling the ball is very interesting.

Airball was one of my favourites as a kid, but somehow it seemed easier then. This is fun and challenging - maybe my patience isn't up for the challenge!

Very entertaining. I have put this game in my favorites. I would reccommend this game to anyone who is waiting for something. Consider this game as a dextarity test and find out exactly how you rate.

A great game and fun to play, and worth the time to play. I wouldn't mind taking time out of my day to play the game more and more and I suggest other to play the game as well
