Beavis and Butthead in Virtual Stupidity

Genre: Adventure    |     Year: 1996    |     Publisher: Viacom Newmedia    |     Developer: Viacom Newmedia
Game Review (written by Biggoron) Added on: 07/30/2006
In this game, you play the role of Beavis and Butthead in their quest for coolness. You start out in your typical Highland High science class looking out the window as the typical badass Todd is hanging out with his buddies. Beavis and Butthead, two clueless kids who aspire to be cool, decide to search for Todd and his gang.
Travel to the faraway city of Highland (which feels more like the outskirts of Dallas, though...) and join Beavis and Butthead as they fry countless innocent ants, work in a fast food restaurant to make their way to the top, steal a tank, break the law, recite poetry, try to loose their virginity, and even go to jail, in search of their own version of the Holy Grail.

You will see familiar faces like Mr. Anderson (their neighbor), Daria (School Genius), Principal McVicker, Bradley Buzzcut, David Van Driessen, Stewart Stevenson, and Killer (or 'KYLER' as Beavis and Butthead like to call them). This game is an awesome and hilarious experience; I remember the first time I played it I got in trouble because I couldn't stop laughing in the middle of the night. Be warned: this game contains a lot of profanity and lowbrow jokes, not for the weak hearted and much less religious folks who can't take a joke.
The game lasted for a good time and has great replay value, especially because of the mini games I dare you to get tired of frying ants.

A big problem I had with this game is figuring out what to do next. I remember I got stuck for such a long time because I missed something. (Quick tip: do not miss the gum in the water fountain at school, it will torture you forever).
I love interactive games where you can click all over the place and there's a response for it, this game is that kind of game, whether an item is part of the quest or not, you can click on it and you'll have a response from the dynamic duo! Plus you can take your sweet time doing things because it's not the kind of game where you have to react quickly or anything like that.
Whether you've seen them on television or not, I guarantee you'll fall in love with their stupidity in no time! And one more thing!
"Diarrhea Chachacha, Diarrhea Chachacha!" talk to Daria at the beginning of the game and you'll know what I mean!

Very nice game. One of the oldest games that I would play all over again. I searched really hard on the net just to download this game and play it. For a game called Virtual Stupidity, it requires a lot of logic. In order to finish it, it requires you to think a lot about what the next step should be. Everyone should try it!

This was a game that people didnt really expect much from, but it was a really good above average adventure game. They could have just tried to cash in off the popularity of the show, but they deliver a solid game here.

One of the more overlooked games from the era when adventure games were king; Beavis and Butthead. Its a blast and its hilarious.

One of the funniest games I've ever played, without a doubt! Puzzles good but not super challenging. I've barely even watched B&B before playing this game and I thought it was awesome. That should say something.

This game takes you back! :) I remember when I was a small boy I used to sit all day long and play this game. Well, it was a demo but it rocked anyway! :D

This game is old but it was ok for its time. I say for fans of this game go for another shot and live old school memories.
