Game Review (written by Carena) Added on: 03/13/2007
Bermuda Syndrome is a great game. It combines two genres of well-known computer games; adventure games and side scrolling. Some of the great characters of this game include dinosaurs, violence, primitive villagers, action heroes, and a female character.
The main character is named Jack J. Thompson, and he is a WW2 fighter pilot who was shot down on an island during a sky fight and lands inside the Bermuda Triangle. On this island, he has to fight dinosaurs and the people/villagers that live there.
This is where the action and adventure comes in. The characters in this story are very engaging and they make the game fun to play. He is joined by The Princess who he fights to save, and who you have to fight and save. The controls are basic, up, down, left, and right, which makes the game easy to control. The game is very complicated, however so the game itself is not easy. Graphics and sound in this game are very advanced for its release year.
The graphics and sound are probably the best part. The voice acting is really funny, and the music is great. This game is extremely fun and challenging. Don’t forget to pay attention to the Princess because

she is the one that you should be mostly concentrating on, since her health is as important as your own. You have to rescue her through a series of puzzles and action sequences. This is what makes the game challenging, though. You can also talk to her for hints along the way for help solving some of the more difficult puzzles. Don’t talk to the primitive islanders, however, because they will lead you astray.
The puzzles are very difficult, so if you don’t like puzzles then you will not like this game. The storyline is really complex, which makes following through on all the puzzles worthwhile. I would compare this game to other action games with some adventure added.
This game is definitely worth a download if you like to solve puzzles and play action adventure games in the first person. I think it is a nice addition to anyone’s collection of retro type DOS games.
