Deja Vu 2 was not only the classic and most popular game from ICOM, but also the greatest game they have put on the market. I first played the game when I was seven and was hooked. About a month ago I was up and playing it again and had to laugh at the simplicity of it, but still had a good 3 hours of fun playing.
Deja Vu 2 is the continuation of Deja Vu, but contains this similar storyline. The basic storyline of the game is that you are a private detective who has just cleared a murder case and wake up having been beaten previously and can not remember much from the past couple days except for a few minor details: you were kidnapped by a gangster known as Malone who accuses you of some money of his which has gone missing.

details: you were kidnapped by a gangster known as Malone who accuses you of some money of his which has gone missing. You had nothing to do with the money, but you know that the criminal in the case you just cleared was involved. Malone lets you go, but you have to come up with over one hundred thousand dollars for him in under a week. So, you set forth to put a solve this problem.
Deja Vu 2 follows the tradition, but without all of the unnecessary amnesia as busting criminals and working around to solve gang crimes. The basic screen set up provides you with a picture of the room your in. The people you can talk to and shows another side window of the items that you carry. The graphics are what you would expect of a game from the late 1980's and might give you a laugh at times. But you can pick up and examine almost any item in your eye sight and the screen provides you an explanation of the item with a little bit of wit thrown in, as you examine a pair of sweatpants you read “It's your pair of gray sweatpants which look about as bad as you feel.” The sounds of course are also what one would expect.
Overall, the game is more than worth a shot at playing. It deserves a good 7.5 out of 10 on a ranking scale and is sure to provide the player with hours of fun. Modern gamers and Classic gamers alike will agree that this game was one of the best of the decade.
