Game Review (written by Kevflynn) Added on: 11/23/2007
Get rock, move rock. That's what I use to categorize these types of games. I use that from the famed King's Quest. There is actually a part when you have to get a rock and move a rock. Anyhow, Demon's Forge is without a doubt one of the earlier of these types. You can use all keyboard commands as well as the arrow keys in the direction you wish to move. You are captive in King Anarankull's castle and are completely naked.

You can actually die and end the game from the very first move. So be careful about what you do or at least save frequently. It's not a huge game by today's comparison for certain, however if you

actually try to solve it on your own, expect at least a month of game play. If you have the walkthrough, then you can solve it in literally about 2 minutes. Some of the things in the game, I would say are a huge stretch to solve. I called on some tough spots and I couldn't understand how they would expect people to make connections to a solve. Some of it is real easy.
The plot is real simple, you start off outside the gates of a prison and have to escape and kill the evil Anarankull. The first thing I'd suggest is to look around for some clothing and wear it. No sense in going through the game completely naked. Also here's a freebie. It's a part of the game that isn't required to solve but you'll hit this area nonetheless.
All in all this is wonderful and addictive game! I highly recommend downloading it! I’m sure you’ll be satisfied!
