This game takes place in medieval times. The King of the Kingdom of Deventry is in trouble because a few of his magical items have been stolen (magic mirror, shield and chest). King Edward the Benevolent has asked you, Sir Graham, to get them back for him. If you succeed, the king has offered you the throne of the kingdom.
The graphics are what you expect from a game written in 1984 but the logic puzzles are what makes this game a lot of fun.

The graphics are what you expect from a game written in 1984 but the logic puzzles are what makes this game a lot of fun. The arrow keys direct Sir Graham around in his animated world. Commands to Sir Graham are sent through the command line. The game relies on this textual input to interface the environment. Commands like “open door” are used. This is unfortunate, because so

many possibilities exist for textual input. Some players complain this makes the game time consuming and frustrating. Other players say this adds a level of sophistication and logic to the game interface. For this reason, patience and logic are required to really, truly enjoy this game. Free range is given in the method of solving the puzzles. You may move Sir Graham very freely through the entire map. A number of times, I got stuck and had to ask friends for help. It was also a team exercise because sometimes we had to work together to solve a particular bit of the puzzle. The music was very enjoyable. Of course, the music was the very simple type of computer music from 1984, but it is very uplifting and nice to hear when you figure out a particularly difficult piece of the quest.
A few suggestions; save a lot. The witch is difficult at first, but you should think logically. Simple commands are the most effective way to get things done that you want done. Spend some time looking at things. It can be very helpful to understand what something is called, and this you learn by looking at the object or looking at its location. Once you have looked at everything, try a number of combinations of words to get what you think should be accomplished. If that is not working, talk to every non-player character you can find. It is quite often that they can help you figure out some small part of your quest.
I really enjoyed playing this game. I would suggest it only to people with patience that enjoy logic puzzles. This game will test both your patience and smarts.
