The movements the characters make are somewhat blocky and choppy, I suppose that's because of actions being based on real life motions. In this Puzzle/Action game player will encounter various forms of creatures: Leech fang critters, Bear-like creatures, Tentacle arms. Also some complicated situations. Quite a few of the puzzles in this game can be quite frustrating, you may need to find assistance on a site. There are many places you CAN and WILL die, so do, please be careful. The way of keeping progress is that you need to reach a certain place, then you acquire a code, you use that code to regain progress.
Lester Knight Chaykin (hero) a Carrot Top physicist, that is merely conducting experiments in the comfort of his lab. The device he's currently tampering with is his Particle Accelerator. While he's waiting for his experiment to commence, lightning strikes the Particle Accelerator which throws things into a whole other set of events... The lightning causes a teleport effect which then forces Lester to be jolted to another world completely. Finding himself in this new world he's thrown into panic and turmoil as he's Captured by aliens and hauled off to a mining prison. The daunting wonder of will I ever return home emits his every thought.
"Buddy" is a Humanoid alien that you befriend, he acts as a kind of side kick throughout the game.
He's in the prison because of the Tyranny that Arsoned his village and enslaved his people. He's helping you on his revenge scheme and to rebuild his civilization. There is a sequel to this game that isn't as well renowned, it's called "Heart of The Alien", I myself have not played the game, but I have heard that it's the Aliens point of View.
I remember at the Time this game used to give me horrible nightmares, ... I was at around the tender age of 5 when I first played it, though now that I look at it, it's not nearly as vivid as my imagination made it to be. The cover art on the original was quite good. I think of it now, parts of this game make me think of Exodus of Abe, odd world, with the whole prison thing, also escaping. I found it to be quite entertaining, also interesting, I give this game ****.
