The third addition to the next astounding series is Police Quest 3: The Kindred being the third part of Police Quest. For the third part of this edition you will become aware of Bain’s death when Sonny and Marie married. The plot included into all of the Police Quest games is quite astounding and realistic. In Police Quest 3 you will be taking on the role of Sonny who is an officer of course. The game begins to get quite interesting when your wife Marie is stabbed one day while she was out at the mall making things a little more personal for this officer trying to find out who did it and get sweet revenge on the criminal.
As the main character you will be dealing with a crime as a cartel of drugs is beginning its operation in Lytton. Soon there will be a lot of evidence scattered around of a satanic cult that you must gather. You will still have to deal with the Bain’s family to an extent in this edition, so even though he is dead he will still have an impact on your life.
As you beginning playing this game you will discover how difficult it actually is. There are so many aspects to the game play and a lot of things you must determine to be able to put all your evidence together. When your wife is stabbed things seem to become even more complicated since everything is being
taken from a more personal approach with the character. Even your partner seems a little questionable with some of ethics he has.
When you are trying to find you’re way from crime to crime it can become very difficult finding the proper leads. If you take the wrong approach the crime could take place way before you even get there. This is a great realistic approach for Police Quest 3. With there being so much behind the plot of all the Police Quest series you may want to take on the games from the first edition to the end to get a true feeling of what is expected from you as the player.
Police Quest 3: The Kindred was one of the best additions to the Police Quest series. It allowed players to become completely enthralled with the game play and feel like this is their own lives they are protecting. With the addition of a more personal feel to this game there is no doubt you will love the game play in a matter of minutes. Beware though, getting revenge may be a lot of fun at first but it can always sneak up behind you unexpectedly.
