Game Review (written by Eric) Added on: 03/12/2008
Red Dwarf is a role playing game based on a popular BBC sci-fi Comedy series. Fans of the TV show will really enjoy this game because of the entertainment it will provide. The game offers some really interesting characters and a well made world composed of alternate universes. The game is really well-made and quite interesting. Those who have seen the original BBC series will find some of the worlds and the creatures in the game familiar.
The game is set 3 million years into the future where there are practically no humans left but with by-products of the old civilizations still left—there are holograms, genetically altered life forms, freaky pets and character, mechanoids and others.
Anything can happen in this world and in the centre of all the adventure is the crew of the star ship Red Dwarf.
The game features good graphics and great music. It really brings you into the game and into the alternate universe. The game will put you into different crazy obstacles that are both fun and challenging and you have to get yourself out of the sticky situation.
The game features character improvement based on skills. The game starts with plenty of characters to choose from. Each character has its own attributes with six statistical figures that you have to monitor. Some of the stats that you need to monitor include the character’s intelligence, strength and others.
The controls are very

easy to learn and manage so you can easily get the hang of the game even if you are new to playing it. Even the combat-systems are easy to master so it makes the game satisfying for any type of gamer.
One of the best features of the game of course it the humour incorporated into the game. Much like the BBC series, you will love this game for its quirky and fun characters and content.
The AI of the game serves as the moderator of the game and serves as guide to the chaotic world. The game is actually successful at creating a semblance of order into the game so that it doesn’t become too frustrating or confusing. But it remains true to the BBC series because the game also allows for some sort of craziness in the game which makes it really fun.
The game is fun, well-made and truly entertaining it’s really worth downloading even for those who do not know the show that the game was based on.
