I love the game SHAMUS, the first time I played this game was on a very old computer. This game is simple in graphics but fun, challenging, exciting and addicting. You are a little alien that needs to collect potions, keys, question marks, etc. and avoid your enemies! There are so many rooms to go into but you'll have a blast. If you stay in a room too long, a shadow will come to attack you and there is no way to stop him so be quick and cunning and you'll do fine! You can use a joystick or your computer keyboard to play this game.

down your arrow keys on your keyboard for too long otherwise your Shamus will be walking too fast and hit the wall where he ends up dying. The wall seems to be an electrocution device. The potion gives you extra life. The question mark will either give you extra life or more points. You collect the key so that you can go into another room. Pay attention to what room you are in because you can easily go in order and then suddenly be at 36 when you just left room 8. You want to complete all of the rooms. The game is full of surprises. I am not sure if you can save in the game, I'm sure it's possible. I don't remember. The music is fun too. Keep the music on to keep you going! As you advance in each of the rooms, be careful because the number of your enemies will increase and the more they will try to shoot at you. As you advance in the rooms you will also see that you will have an addition to your enemies. It's green and quick, it doesn't move back and forth, up and down like your more simpler enemies, this one can move all around and diagonally too so be very careful because sometimes there are more than 1 or 2 in the same room and they can come up right next to you without you knowing when you enter into a new room. I try to avoid this by switching back and forth between rooms and try to get fewer and easily targeted enemies so that I can move on. Shamus is a fun, wonderfully simple game to play but be careful because you maybe playing for many hours! You can also pause the game by hitting escape if you need a break. I love this game and I think you will too!
