I remember playing this game when I was a little kid. This game was a new release back then! I remember rolling on the floor at the slapstick humor and unexpected solutions to the puzzles! I especially remember the puke berries you have to rub on your body so you don't get eaten! It is during the course of this game - I don't want to give it away!
In general, this game brought back great memories. I was more than surprised to learn that it can be manipulated to be played on a modern PC.

Here are my general feelings on the game though:
Story 8/10: I think the story is absolutely hilarious! If you have a sense of humor for slapstick and sarcasm, you will absolutely
love this game!
Playability: 6/10: The controls are crude, but so where computers when this game came out. It is also really easy to die in this game too. (Oops, did I say too much?) Don't worry none of the deaths are graphic. However having to type in all actions is fun. (Such as "Open locker", "Change clothes"...)
Graphics 4/10: The graphics are crude too. But then again, so where the graphics cards in computers back then. If I wrote this review back at its release date, I'd say that it would be 10/10. But graphics have gone so far today that the graphics in Star Quest 2 are a bit disappointing.
In-game Puzzles / Challenges 10/10: This game has one difficulty setting - Expert. You have to be familiar yourself in the first few screens in order to really succeed in this game. Although you have to score 250 points - each one is well-earned. You have to use your head and instincts to solve this game. It isn't one you will solve in a short time, in less you are familiar with the series. Each puzzle is challenging and requires quite a bit of thought! But the difficulty is for all ages though.
Overall Rating 7/10: The game wouldn't get very good reviews if it was resold today. There wouldn't be near enough blood and gore in it. However for the time, Star Quest 2 is a great way to rekindle old memories - especially if you were around when it came out for the first time! In my opinion though, I think we should return to simplicity. I hope you enjoy this game!!
