The best feature of the game is in the plotline or the scenarios. There are different scenarios in the game and you have to figure out the
best way to solve the different problems. Your score at the very end of the game will show how well you did in solving the different scenarios. The different scenarios have multiple solutions so that definitely makes the game more challenging, fun and interesting for the player.
The eight different scenarios in the game include: Federation, Sentinel, No Man’s Land, Light and Darkness, Voids, Museum Piece, Though this be Madness and Yet There is Method in it. The scenarios are just as interesting as their titles.
In the Federation, the USS Alexander has just returned from the future and reports that the federation has been destroyed. You must now figure out what causes the destruction of the federation and prevent it. In the Sentinel, the crew of the Enterprise is sent to investigate when a Federation space ship gets scanned from the planet. In No Man’s Land, you must investigate the disappearance of some federation starships. You must also find the missing ships and prevent Trelane, the Baron of Gathos, from waging a war. In Light and Darkness, Captain Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise must resolve the conflict between the two life forms on a planet. In Voids, Captain Kirk must save Spock from the alien life form that kidnapped him and save the Enterprise. In the Museum Piece, Captain Kirk and his crew get a shore leave and the captain is asked to preside over a function at the Smithsonian Annex. While there the museum gets attacked by terrorists and it is up to Captain Kirk and his crew to stop the terrorists. In the Though this be Madness, Captain Kirk must prevent the landing on a Klingon Neutral Zone of a massive alien ship. In Yet there is Method in it, Kirk successfully prevents the ship from landing on the Klingon Neutral zone but the builders of the ship wish to make contact with the Federation provided Captain Kirk passes their test.
This game is worth every minute you will spend downloading and every single hour you will spend playing it. It is timeless and definitely satisfies any hard core Star Trek fan. The game is so good that even those who are not particularly fond of the Star Trek series will enjoy this game.
