I enjoyed this game when I had the patience and the time to take my time to click on everything to find the necessary hidden objects or area I was supposed to go to. The problem was unnecessarily complicated and small objects, too many choices and too much effort to make the character perform the proper activities. There were too many objects that did not have any point of being in the game that just confused me and caused me to waste time.

The biggest flaw was the fact that to have the character perform a task or even move you are forced to select the action on the bar on the bottom of the screen and then click the object; if
you miss the object by even the slightest measurement you are forced to click the action once more. I gave up only hours into the game because I was getting nowhere and there was no sort of help to be got for it. I attempted to tough it out because I was interested in the plotline but the slow pace of the game combined with the fact that I was forced to click everything and use the actions bar finally wore me out to the point where I could no longer play. The visuals are interesting, retro, as this is an older game, but intriguing.
I would recommend it to someone with a lot of time on his/her hands who is also a fan of the classic RPG games. Perhaps I am biased because of the quickness and simplicity (I am used to just pointing and clicking for the character to move, look at, or touch any item) of the brand new games of this day and age. There are a few references to the original game, but not enough to be distracting from the plotline of the story at hand, nothing necessary to the player's completion of the game. If you miss an item right in the beginning you will be stuck endlessly unless you find it. I do not think that anyone would be able to complete the game without a walkthrough or at least a few hints from others who have played it when the player gets stuck.
I was stuck for days, and eventually gave up, because I had not found the cash card that hides in various parts of the house depending on the game. All in all, it is manageable with help and a lot of patience.
