The Wayne’s World video game released by Capstone in 1993 seems a world apart from the same game released by Radical Entertainment for NES in the same year. From a better story line, to cleaner graphics to a seriously superior game play, the Capstone version tramples the Radical Entertainment version effortlessly. Still despite all the better features of the Capstone version, it is still a game you don’t play for hours on end.
To put it bluntly the game isn’t even half as entertaining as the movie from which the game was adapted.

To put it bluntly the game isn’t even half as entertaining as the movie from which the game was adapted. In the game, Wayne and Garth set-up a pizza delivery service to save the Community Access Television from getting cancelled. Wayne and Garth get as much pizzas as they can delivered as well
as get donations from viewers to save the station and their TV show.
The game play is pretty simple and it can provide enough entertainment for those who do not seek too much excitement in their “adventure” games. The puzzles are pretty easy to solve and you can easily switch characters when you want to. Because the game uses click and point, the characters are easy to manipulate (except for the jumps which can be a little tricky considering some platforms are 3D while the background is 2D). The game is also very easy until the 4th level.
The graphics are good enough for a game released in the early 90s. The video game characters do look like the Wayne and Garth in the movie and the background provides enough depth to make it look 3D. The game is also colorful which makes it at least look fun. During the game and cut-scenes, Wayne and Garth make the same cheesy jokes and the same catchphrases made popular by the movie.
Another downside to the movie is the music. Considering that the soundtrack of the movie was pretty good, the sound of the video game is cool.
This game is worth downloading! I love it and I’m sure you’ll love it too!
