This is not a simple quest-game. And it is much more than just a funny game. Its cartoon graphics can distract you, but don’t believe in your first impressions. They often lie. Most adventure lovers would like this game from the very first start. And remember – this is not a typical walkover!
Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth story takes its place after the last atomic war. People were obliged to hide in the underground.
They thought, that in some time later, they will get out of the underground and find new land, green and pleasant. In fact, they were right. Some time later there is a green world with its species – Boozooks. They are peaceful and gentle. To put it more precisely, they were so. But the humans are famed for their aggressive tastes, so they decided to conquer peaceful Boozooks. Than people erected monuments to their “glory”. Rather bitter, cruelly, foully, hard, sore, sorely, violently, sharply, harshly… I have no more words to describe humans.
Nevertheless, there is one sensible representative of the human race. The Professor Azimuth is. He made a new creature, Schnibble, which is called up to liberate Boozooks. How do you think,
did the humans liked it? No way! The Professor was jailed by the President and his “Right Hand” – Bigwig.
Your start your playing by a little boy – Woodruff. During the game you will receive different tips and advices from a professor. But don’t be trustful as a little boy – this game has a various numbers of characters, which are all different. Some of they will tell you the truth, another ones will lie you. Be careful!
Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth has rather friendly and intuitive interface. Simply click on the characters to talk to them, right click to bring up your inventory and left click to use an object.
By the way, if you are going to do something critical, Woodruff has a lot of funny phrases to tell to you.
The graphics with its backgrounds is far from static – it is populated with numerous animations. The sound effects also are effective and entertaining contributing greatly to the overall package.
