This game I am rather fond of because of how realistic the game play is. The plot however is just like Aladdin! Even the main villain is called Jafar! None the less, this game is hard and challenging.
You play as a man who was thrown into the sultan’s prison (who Jafar being an opportunist while the sultan is away, tries to marry the Sultan’s beautiful young daughter who has another love…Deep in the cold dungeon her love is escaping the sultans prison so she can marry her true love! Be a hero and marry the sultan’s daughter!
The game play is rather easy to understand.
The only buttons besides the arrow keys is the shift key (drink potions along the way) and to fight with a sword…the controls sadly I won’t get into about sword fighting… Besides the easy controls, the many ways of dying is also humorous! Like just to name a few, you can get cut in half, getting shacked in by spikes, getting your skull cracked in half from falling too far just to name a few and dying in a sword fight. The music when you die is also kind of funny too. The animations for this game are good for its time! The game is simple yet addictive! That will keep you coming back to fall and crack your skull once more! And hear
that poor man falling to his doom screaming all the way down!
But this game does have its disadvantages...there is hardly no music! Only when you start the game! The sounds are hardly there! And there are so many ways to die and the jumping around the most IMPOSSIBLE ledges you will have to jump! The sword fighting is also kind of boring how you just fight or die or be the victor and go on. Another drag about this game is that there is only 1 weapon… a sword...but I ask myself the question...if you only get on sword, why are there so many!
This game also (not to be funny) will make you afraid of that next jump and will make you think twice or three times before you attempt to jump that ledge that has been killing you for about a month!
