Game Review (written by Happymal9) Added on: 10/10/2006
This game is pretty cool! It's not a hard concept: what you do is you get to be a massive lizard or big old giant, and go around attacking and smashing little cities. It's great fun! The villagers try to fight back but they are really no match for you, which is kind of cool but then again makes for a pretty easy win.
The graphics in this game were decent, but a bit sloppily cartooned, as if someone created it on a very basic program in their basement.
I guess I can’t expect much more though for an old dos game created in 1988, so it’s actually not so bad. Yet this again would appeal to those younger generations who like bright colors and silly graphics and don’t care as much about flashy special effects. My favorite part of the game is when you have to eat hotdogs and hamburgers to recharge your energy. It's so random and funny!
Some people might think that this game isn’t good for kids to play because of the violence factor, but I approve of it for several reasons. First of all, it has never been proven factually that violence in video games leads kids to display violent tendencies in real life. Secondly, the graphics

in this game are so cartoonish and unrealistic that it really emulates real life to a very, very small degree. Thirdly, the content and plot of the game is nothing like real life itself; that is, unless you are a giant ogre and crush whole villages as a day job. I liken it to the plot of Shrek, or some other such children’s movie with mild cartoon violence, one that would be rated PG. This game should probably be played by someone 8 years old and up, and I think it would be fine and would not adversely affect their growth and development process.
The best part is there is a two-player option so you can play it with a friend! I would recommend this to younger teens and pre-teens, would probably not be entertaining to older teens or adults for long periods of time. This game is a pretty fun way to kill time though, I especially recommend it if you're bored at work! I actually played this game with my boss yesterday! We were on break and he asked what I was doing so I showed him and we went into two-player mode! We got kind of distracted and kept playing when we were supposed to be working! It was great fun.

This was a super cute game. I loved being a monster! I liked how it was set up and i enjoyed the "destruction factor".
