Abuse is a really fun game, with fairly simple controls; I used to play this game when I was six so it can’t be too hard! ;)
Well this is basically a 2D side scrolling shooter game, you play an almost robotic man set out to get to the top of a huge building filled with ‘Aliens’ style enemies raining down on you from almost all directions, and the occasional puzzle to open a door, work a lift or progress through the game. There are several pickups to find during the game, including high speed running, and even one which lets you fly! I always used to find this game extremely fun, and was delighted to find it on this site! Playing this game brought back all sorts of memories from my childhood, and had me searching this website for all of the games of my childhood!

Ok, let's have more about the game... The graphics are pretty good for it’s time, I think, and plays very well. It has fairly good sound affects, with almost haunting sounds of aliens when you can't see them. The weapons included in the game are very inventive, with a starting weapon which is a star wars style red laser gun, which I always found fun :) There are hardly any moments during playing this game that don't find you confronting sometimes hundreds of enemies or puzzles. You will hardly ever find this game frustrating, and you may even find yourself very engrossed and maybe slightly addicted!
The only thing which I could pick at about this game is that you have to use save points rather than saving at any time, but there are plenty of save points to use during the game, so it is a very small pick after all! I have played many games of this style, but Abuse stands out above all the rest as it is just so fun! This game is the one to pick if you feel like going on a killing spree to destroy hundreds of little red, blue, yellow, and lots of colored enemies.
If you want a good little game to play for a couple of hours, I DEFINATELY recommend this one! It should have you addicted, just to find out what happens next! Unfortunately, like most classic games, you may find it slightly repetitive eventually, but it's definitely worth the download.
