Game Review (written by Fruitbag3455) Added on: 08/17/2007
I still remember the days when I used to play this game, the thrill of soaring through the infinite space blowing up my brother’s and sister’s spaceship. As time passed the game still gives me that excitement I had in my childhood. The great thing about netwars was not the graphics, but it was the variety missiles, different ship designs and the AI (Artificial Intelligence). You can play single player or multiplayer through LAN (Local Area Network) with friends or family which I prefer.
Graphics (3/10) - I must admit, the graphics are pretty poor looking back.

Graphics (3/10) - I must admit, the graphics are pretty poor looking back. The Special effects are limited and repetitive but it is tolerable.
Sound (2/10) – The audio is as usual as other old games with the beeping and other sounds

your computer can make.
Gameplay (7/10) – Just the fact that it has multiplayer in it makes it fun. The single player still is enjoyable but it is nothing compared to the ‘LAN’ capabilities. It has an interesting mini map on the bottom right of the screen so you can see who is around you.
Story (N/A) – There seems to be no story in the game but just basically to blast any foe out of your line of site.
Interface (8/10) – It is easy to choose what type of ship you want and other options, that is why I gave it eight out of ten.
Pros: Multiplayer abilities, enjoyable game play, variety of weapons and ships to choose from, easy to use.
Cons: The graphics are ok compared to some games back then, slightly repetitive, the sound can be very annoying after a long time.
So overall I have rated it five out of ten, I used the calculator to work it out to make it more accurate. Five out of ten = Worth downloading the game.
