Game Review 1 (written by Jereme_2004) Added on: 10/21/2006
Bomberman is a CLASSIC game for the nostalgic gamer. Card carrying, certified geeks (such as myself) are brought back to the glory days of being mesmerized by the flickering screen on the living room floor for hours on end with this old school Nintendo game. The new bomberman games have provided a breath of fresh air in the series; however, if you are a classic Nintendo fan, there is no sequel to come close to this original. This site has captured the pure essence of childhood geekdom in an unbelievably solid deal for this game: FREE.
You cannot beat the price and you cannot beat the experience.
As the main character in the game, you are charged with placing bombs around the various levels and working your way through the mazes and destroy the other bombermen! Nothing says fun like blowing things up! Would be nice to be able to play by myself though, sometimes
other people just are not available for all of the bomberman fun!
Game Review 2 (written by Kimkim18) Added on: 10/03/2006
I remember the first time that I played this game; I could not get the hand of the controls and keeping my character alive. The graphic during that time was great, but compare to the graphic most games are now offering, the graphic cannot compare.
It was interesting game to play, even though it took me a long time to get the hand of the game. I donít think I can remember any computer game that was similar to Bomberman. The most remember part of the game was trying to use the bombs to get the other character. I can remember that this game was very competitive among my friends; we would use dirty tricks and pair up with other player and gain up on one character. Of course we take sure in doing this. Thatís the trick bit. This is the part I have problems keeping my character alive.
The color of the games is good. But reminds me more like a cartoon. I do prefer games that had a story line to it. Bomber man was different. But I have to say the sound of the game is ok, each the character moves, and it sounds like the plastic shoes that little kids wear that make sound. But I also like the fact the each stage to pass it get hard to get to the top. I do like how the character look cutes and the like ball thing on tops of the heads that was funny.
I remember the best games are always dos games. These games are simple to install and play at time, where I wish I had kept more of the dos games, and pass them over the child. But these days getting a proper dos is like looking for a needle in a hay stack
What else can I say about this game? Funny how the character die if you get bombed Is cute then the character get hit by the bomb it turn 360 degree then you have to start again. It would be better if the game had a story like kingís quest of something. Make is more interesting to play. The action at time is too repeated that it people can get sick of playing after
The music is poor. It would be better if it had better do you know the bomber man was a cartoon series.

It is a great game. It is incredible. Each level has a new beginning and each level is very amazing

Bomberman is a fun game. It's fun to try to stay out of the way of the bombs. I recommend this game to everyone.
