This is definitely one of the best games that I have ever played. Claw is a game that enchants its players and keeps them hooked.
Captain Nathaniel Joseph Claw was jailed by Cocker Spaniards. There he learns about Amulets that presents its holder with immortality. But the gems of the amulet are in different places and Captain Claw is determined to find all of them. Captain Claw manages to break out of jail and it is up to you to guide and beat his enemies in order to conquer immortality.
Treasures, traps, secret areas make this game all the more interesting.
The game features fourteen levels, each in a different place. The first level La Roca is perhaps one of the easiest yet complex levels. Captain Claw is faced with the challenge of defeating the guards and getting through the spikes. Captain Claw has magic powers and weapons. One of Captain Claw’s magic abilities is Magic Claw. This mysterious power kills any enemies in front of him. Captain Claw also has a pistol and dynamite along with a sword. More dynamite and Pistol shots can be collected throughout the level. One has to conquer a level before they can move on to the next.
The end of the second level, The Battlements, is where
Captain Claw collects his second gem after defeating La Rauxe, the guarder of this first gem. Each gem has a guard who Captain Claw has to defeat in order to get the gem. The slaying of each guard gets harder and harder as the level advances. However, not all levels have a gem. Every other level features one of the nine gems, excluding the last three, all of which have one each.
The levels get more and more complex as Captain Claw makes his way through the shield of enemies. He has to get through lava, traps, earthquakes, swamps, spike traps etc. You start with 100% heart beat, but as you get hit or hurt by any of the guards or traps, your heart beat decreases and you die when you hit 0. Heart beat enhancements are available throughout the levels in order for you to gain strength. Treasure are also scattered throughout the levels. Coins, Chalices, Golden Bars, Crowns and other things can be collected in order to earn points. Power-ups for you sword can also be collected throughout the levels.
All of this leads to the final level, The Temple, the hardest level of all. Fire traps, lava along ferocious monks are just some of Captain Claw’s obstacles. At the end of the level, you come face to face with Omar, the highest priest, who guards the last gem. Understandably, he is the hardest one to defeat but once defeated, Captain Claw acquires the last gem.
This is a great game that can be enjoyed by people of any age group. Once you start, you will only stop with Omar's demise. Great graphics and sound make the game all the more interesting. This enthralling and challenging game is a must have.
