I would play this game everyday after I got home from school, my stepfather had a computer and I would get on there and play it. It reminded me of the original Mario Brothers from the NES and since we didn’t have NES I had to settle for this.
The point of this game is to collect the golden cups and get to the door without falling into water, these purple tentacle things called weird weeds, or fire. There are also weapons you can get for shooting enemies.
And a Jet pack you can use to fly over long areas or to get into high places, and these green wands you can use to refill your jet pack. You can also collect gems, rubies, these little purple balls, rings, etc. anything that looks shiny or expensive grab it. All these things will give you a higher score. That’s the hard part of the game getting a high score, some of the gems I don’t know how to get without dying. They are near impossible. You only have three lives so be careful and I haven't found a way to get any more lives.
When my stepfather first bought me the game I thought it was the coolest thing
ever, I would invite all my friends over to play it and we would take turns for hours playing it. Even thought it only has ten levels none of us could get past the ninth, nor the eight but I went and cried to my stepfather and he came and beat it for me. I downloaded this game about a week ago and guess what, I still can't beat that eight level, it’s really complicated, but it’s fun.
The graphics for the game are about the same as Mario Brothers were when it first came out. The sound on the other hand is nothing like it. It only makes noise when you move your guy and it sounds choppy and boring and it doesn't sound like walking, it sounds more like a jackhammer going off. So either turn down the music or have some tylenol ready.
All in all it’s a fun and addicting game I could play for hours on end. There are also secret places in some of the level which make it even better to play, you just wanna keep playing till you find them all. I would recommend it for anyone that wants to waste a couple of hours or they just want to have fun playing an old game, plus it’s suitable for all ages.
