Game Review (written by Londondogg) Added on: 01/20/2008
Dawn Raiders is a difficult game to play for beginners for some reasons.
1) You have to read asian.
2) The controls are weird: to use guns press '[', then for the rockets press ']'.
The game is fun, it’s like River raid but without fuel tanks because it just has water, ground (that you can not land), planes, turrets, tanks and varies of other things trying to kill you. You simply have to shoot your enemies, some will drop all the weapons and other stuff.
The further you go the more enemies will try to vanquish you and harder it gets.

The graphics is alright for its age (e.g. when you shot a missile it has the smoke at the back of the missile that looks great for its age), but it’s a bit pixelated. The explosions are pretty awesome too.
The game play is great. The controls are pretty smooth: to shoot the guns it’s '[' and for the missiles ']', to move up, down, left and right use the arrow keys.
Pros: fun, enjoyable, interesting in a way you have

no idea what happens next.
Cons: no background music, most of the words are in asian
