Game Review 1 (written by Chrissi) Added on: 11/30/2007
Death Track is a game based in a post apocalyptic America. You will be racing across the United States for money. The money can be used to purchase armor, weapons and many modifications that will assist in protecting your vehicle and using against other competition.
At the beginning of the game you will have a certain amount of money to purchase a vehicle. There are three vehicles to select from, one having higher speeds, another higher firepower, and the last being heavily armored. Depending on your preferences for the vehicle will vary on what you decide on.
After you’ve selected your vehicle you will begin competing against other racers.
There are two different ways to be the winner of the races. The first one would of course to come in first place and the second would be the only one left. Either ways you will earn money and be able to purchase even more upgrades for your vehicle. Each upgrade available will come in three different levels of quality. Depending on the amount you are willing to spend will depend on how effective those upgrades will be, so don’t wimp out and buy cheap since it won’t do as much for you in the long run.
There are many ways to slow down or destroy your opponents and the weapons surely

come into great use to do so. The weapons vary in many aspects, some will be very lethal and just destroy your opponents and other weapons will just be a good defense weapon. With the weapons varying in capabilities you are pretty much determining how difficult you actual want each race to be.
All in all this game is pretty much a racing combat game. You are pretty much just trying to either wins the race by defending yourself and racing, or going the brutality root and destroying everyone that comes in your path. There are so many scenarios to travel through. Each having great graphical detail so that is does resemble the actual cities in the United States. With the amount of detail put into every level and the game itself, Death Track is a superb game. The game isn’t too difficult once you get your vehicle built up for combat and if you really want to go the easy route you can just by completely upgrading your vehicle with everything possible.
Death Track is a great game that I know without a doubt thousands will enjoy. There are endless possibilities for this game and the ability to travel across America in the comfort of your home is even more appealing. If you love combat games and racing games you will love this combination and want to attempt it many of times till you’ve successfully completed every scenario with first place.

Game Review 2 (written by Cuzosh) Added on: 06/22/2007
I remember this game when I was about 10 years old. My parents barely let me play it due to its low violent content. What a great game though, I’m so glad I found this site and this game. I’ve never seen any other game where you can build up the craziest car with weapons of mass destruction, you can add missiles, mines, terminators ( mines that chase after cars ) road spikes, the complete works, and also the fact that you can do the car up to with boosters and engines accessories.
For its time the graphics were amazing. Even when I was 10 I couldn't get off this game, my parents would have to pull the plug on the old IBM just to get me to sit down and eat dinner. So what are you waiting for, download this game now and reap the benefits of death track.

Death track is a very exciting game with a lot of action. The graphics are fair. The sounds of the cars are good. The car is a little slow. The weapons need to be updated. The finish line needs more lights and the game needs a night mode. The race track is too short, the graphics could be better but it is okay for an older game.
